The world's biggest girl band are back!
Then
After watching the Black Eyed Peas live in concert recently, I still have two concert that i have always wished I could go and catch them live in action someday, that is Linkin Park and the Spice Girls. But the Spice Girls concert are almost impossible to go because they have split a few years ago. But thanks to their recent reunion and their upcoming concert tours it would be a dream come true for all of the spice fans. Me myself have been a fan more than 10 years ago when the Spice Girls formed in 1994.
The Spice Girls consists of Geri Halliwell aka Ginger Spice, Melanie Chisholm aka Sporty Spice, Emma Bunton aka Baby Spice, Melanie Brown aka Scary Spice and Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice. The Spice Girls signed to Virgin Records and released their debut single, "Wannabe" in 1996. The song went on to spend seven weeks atop the UK Singles Chart and helped establish the group as an "international phenomenon" and becoming the best selling single by a girl group with sales in the region and other no. 1 hits such as Say You'll Be There, 2 Become 1, Mama, Who Do You Think You Are and Spice Up Your Life. The Spice Girls released three studio albums and ten singles, selling in excess of 53 million records worldwide.
The Spice Girls went their separate ways in 2001 (a break-up was never formally announced) to focus on their solo careers. On June 28 2007, they reformed and are now releasing a Greatest Hits album that will be accompanied by a World Tour. The Spice Girls will start of their first ever reunion concert on December 2nd at Vancouver, Canada followed by other countries as below:
