Celebrities Hairstyles

Katie Holmes surprised everyone with her new bob recently while accompanying her husband Tom Cruise at the 59th annual Bambi Awards in Dusseldorf, Germany. The haircut apparently works for her and highlights her pretty face and other celebrities like Rihanna and Posh had the same style too. Seems like most celebrities couldn't live with just one hairstyle. Here are some of the famous celebrities hairstyles to remember for this year.

Alicia Keys

Alicia made the most of her chocolate colored locks at the 2007 American Music Awards with the help of this funky style. Her length was jagged cut and her sides and back section were angle layered to add volume to the crown and extra shape to the waves. To complete her look, her bangs were side swept to create a soft shape around her face. This style will work best on medium to thick hair types.

Victoria Beckham

The always elegant Victoria looked sensational with her hairstyle at the 12th Annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. This is a very blunt concave bob which features jagged layers cut around the back to create a textured shape. The front has been left heavy for a softer look around the face. This style will work best on medium to fine hair types and naturally straight hair.

This was a very elegant look for Mel C at the 12th Annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Her hair was angle layered around the back and sides to add volume around the crown and to enhance the waves. Kristen Bell

This was a bewitching look for Kristen at the 2007 International Emmy Awards Gala. Long layers were cut through her back and sides to create bounce, and her sexy side swept bangs were kept long enough to tickle the top of her eyebrows and give her a flirty finish.

Kelly Preston

Kelly kept her hairstyle slick and smooth for the Hollywood Film Festival's Hollywood Awards and looked great! The lengths of her sexy golden locks were blunt cut to give her edges a definite straight line and no layers were added, which makes this style a cinch to maintain with regular trims.

Jewel

Jewel showed up to the 41st Annual CMA Music Awards looking sexy and sassy with her hair styled out to fall below her shoulders. Her medium to long layers were used to create the shape of her style and to add volume to her mid-lengths. This style is soft and stunning and is the perfect option for any occasion.

Jessica Simpson

This was a divine hairstyle for Jessica at the 55th Annual BMI Country Awards. Her long tresses were layered up to her mid-lengths for balance and shape, and sexy side swept bangs were added to compliment her facial features perfectly.

Heidi Klum

Heidi simply shone at the 12th Annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show with this great 'do. To achieve this fun wavy style, long angled layers were cut around the sides and back to add height around the crown and shape to the waves. This style will work best on medium to thick hair types and long face shapes.

Halle Berry

Halle looked sexy at the L.A premiere of "Things We Lost In The Fire" thanks to her smooth hairstyle. The ends of her hair were sliced to achieve a wispy look and beautiful layers were cut from her mid-lengths down to her ends to create shape. Bangs were also added and were used to create a sassy frame for her face.

Gwen Stefani

Gwen's full bodied hairstyle was a great look for her at the "Keeping a Child Alive" Black Ball. The lovely layers and maximum height throughout the top of her hairstyle ensured that her whole style sat beautifully to frame her face. This hairdo is a great option for those after a look to try at a big celebration.

Fergie

This was a very alluring hairstyle for Fergie at the 2007 American Music Awards. Her hair was pulled half up to show off her luscious length which fell below her shoulders. Only minimum layers were cut through her edges to allow body and movement from top to bottom.

Eva Longoria

Eva wore her hair out for the EL Sueno De Esperanza Gala and looked great! Her smooth locks were razored on the ends to create a soft finish and to contour her neck line. Her back section also had wispy layers cut through to add shape.

Christina Aguilera

Her hair was styled into large defined curls which sat beautifully on her shoulders while the top of her style was pulled half back to create height and volume. This is an elegant style that is perfect for any occasion.

Beyonce

Avril Lavigne

This style was a great look for Avril at the 2007 American Music Awards. The main feature of her look was the bright pink hue which gave her simple cut a rock star attitude. Long face framing layers were all that was needed to finish this look off. This hairdo will be easy to maintain with regular trims.

Paris Hilton

This was a flirty look for Paris at the 2007 Spike TV Scream Awards. Her ends were textured for a funky finish to the edges and her wispy layers were started short from the top and blended down to the ends.
