Nail Art

Nail art, the practice of painting decorative designs on your fingernails, is a fun way to brighten up your everyday look or accessorize a special occasion outfit. There are a variety of nail art designs available, ranging from subtle and understated to funky and outrageous. For example, you could choose to paint flowers on your nails for a date or spell out the name of your favorite athletic team on the day of the big game. While the more intricate designs are best left to a professional, it’s possible to create simple nail art at home.

There are many different methods you can use to come up with nail art designs. Many beginners like to copy from pictures they have found on the internet or in nail art books. Some larger nail salons also offer classes for people interested in learning how to do their own nail art. However, even people with minimal artistic talent can learn to freehand geometric shapes or floral designs.

While most nail art designs are created simply using various colors of nail polish, you can add sparkle to your designs by mixing glitter into one or more of the polish colors before painting your nails. Using stick-on nail art jewels is another great way to jazz up a simple nail art motif. Tiny stickers can make it easier to create more elaborate designs.

Once you’ve finished your design, proper maintenance will help keep your nail art in top condition for as long as possible. Apply a coat of protective clear nail polish every two or three days for the duration of your manicure. Wear gloves when doing tasks that may damage your nails and resist the urge to pick or bite your nails.

Hair Extensions

Hair extensions are getting more popular today for those who wants to change their hairstyles for a better look or be more attractive. Even celebrities get hair extensions for various movie roles. The celebrity factor is what has catapulted the popularity of hair extensions over the last 5 years. Once thought as a rich person’s service, hair extensions have become much more affordable and even practical for everyday consumers. The main reason for getting hair extensions is to add length to hair style, although they can be used to thicken the hair or even add highlights. Hair extensions offer a simple solution to fine hair and can add a little glamour to thick, curly or wavy hair in any color or style.

Hair extensions are used by many people around the world to add length, fullness, or color to one's own natural hair. Even celebrity like Jessica Simpson has her own hair extensions line called HairDo.

There are few types of hair extensions such as human hair extensions, synthetic hair extensions, clip-in hair extensions, wefted hair extensions among others. Human hair, unlike synthetic hair can be straightened with a flat iron, curled with heat, or chemically treated to perm or dye the hair. Thin and fine hair becomes full and thicker. Short hair transforms to long, luxurious hair.

Synthetic hair extensions can be applied the same way as human hair extensions. These fibers are man-made and especially designed to create hair extension and hairpiece hairstyles. Most of our synthetic extensions are made from Kanekalon Vibralite® modacrylic fiber. Synthetic hair extensions come in a large variety of exciting colors.

Clip-In Hair Extensions are easy to attach and can be perfectly matched with your own hair - giving you longer hair, lowlights, highlights, or added volume. All clip–in hair extensions come in one or multiple pieces (wefts) of varying widths. These extensions can be clipped–in or out in minutes and are virtually undetectable. Wefted Hair Extensions are simply a curtain of hair used to layer in to your own hair to add color, length and or volume.

Most human hair extensions can be treated as real hair, albeit more gently. Since human hair extensions are usually heavily processed to achieve uniform color and texture, a mild shampoo is recommended, along with a light conditioner to reduce tangling. Cool water is recommended when shampooing, to reduce or prevent matting and excessive tangling. Having to remove snarls and tangles loosens the foundation of the integrations and further damages the hair.

The same care taken when shampooing must also be used when styling artificial hair. It's often recommended that the texture of hair purchased should be the style in which the hair is worn. Using heat to straighten curly hair, or to curl straight hair, damages it. The more damage the hair sustains, the shorter the lifespan of the artificial hair.
