It's going to be end of the year soon and Christmas is just less than a month away, yet I could see most shops already started to decorate their places with Christmas trees and all those beautiful and colourful Christmas decorations. Next month will be much awaited by most people as they will get their yearly bonuses and its definitely shopping time for everyone.

As for me, I won't be spending most of my bonus on a shopping spree as I'm planning to save most of it on travelling next year. But still, I'm trying to get something unique this year. My first choice was the Christian Dior Addict perfume but I'm kinda attracted to Dior's new couture necklace and crystal bejeweled pendant and it's definitely for the serious collector of all things bright and beautiful. What attracted me to this fine jewelry is the design of the pendant with crystal encrusted on it and the Dior word hanging below the pendant. Inside the pendant is a dazzling surprise, a glamorous lip gloss fit for shimmering holiday lights. I had browsed other nice jewelry from YSL, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Giorgio Armani but I really liked the Dior pendant, plus it looked posh though. But the price of the pendant of course, is not cheap but what the hell, I'm gonna get it anyway. This beautiful pendant would be the perfect gift for loved ones during Christmas and I believe most women would absolutely love it.

I've Won..Again!

Most women who likes to read various women magazines may treat these magazines as their ultimate fashions and lifestyles bible. Stories about life, careers, relationships, latest fashions in the market, tips on how to be in great shape, latest makeups and accessories from various brand has definitely attracted most women to read them.

I must admit that I'm definitely one of these many women who are so into fashion and lifestyle magazines. Being a fashion lover , I constantly update myself with the latest fashions, makeups and accessories. Since I'm a Malaysian, I don't usually buy foreign magazines such as InStyle, Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, Vanity Fair and other because these magazines were imported and quite expensive as well in here, so I settled for a cool local magazine titled "CLEO" instead.

CLEO is the perfect magazine for women because it has everything a woman wants. From the latest fashion to the coolest stories about a woman's life and how to manage them, CLEO is definitely worth buying. Besides, this magazine has lots of contest for its readers and the prizes offered were fantastic. I have this habit of sending every contest from each issue I bought, you know, just for fun. I bought the latest issue of CLEO last week but haven't got the time to fully check out what's the latest fashion news, let alone the contest winner's result for the last month's issue. It was only yesterday that I've found out I had won one of the contest and the prize is : Anna Sui's latest perfume Flight Of Fancy. Yaaaahoooo.....what a cool prize, it was like an early Christmas present to me. I have been reading CLEO magazine for only one and a half year this was actually the third time I've won from the magazine's contest. Not bad.

The first prize I've won was this color eyeliner and music video cd which was okay, second was a cool one, which is two boxes of color contact lenses from CIBA VISION. I get to choose the color in which I chose green and gray. I have never wore a contact lenses before so when I got them, I asked my friend who works at the optical shop to teach me. Turns out it was so easy to wear the contact lenses without irritation or feeling uncomfortable. I definitely liked the way I looked with the contact lenses. I'm still waiting for the prize notification letter though, and I'll definitely going to enter more upcoming contests from CLEO.

I had a great time with my friends yesterday watching the movie Beowulf at the cinema followed by bowling and a karaoke sessions. It's been quite sometime since I went to the cinema, last movie I saw was Resident Evil 3 : Extinction. I did consider myself a movie freak since I've been to the cinema many times this year. It's a great feeling watching movies on the big screen with popcorns and drinks.

Well, the movie Beowulf is a 2007 animated epic film adapted from the Old English heroic epic film adapted from the epic poem of anonymous authorship, Beowulf. The film is directed by Robert Zemeckis and was created through motion capture which is a technique similar to that used by Zemeckis in The Polar Express. The cast includes Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, Robin Wright Penn, John Malkovich, Crispin Glover, Brendan Gleeson and not forgetting the sexy Angelina Jolie.

Director Robert Zemeckis's digitally rendered film follows the Scandinavian hero Beowulf (Ray Winstone) as he fights to protect the Danes from a ferocious beast named Grendel (Crispin Glover). Though at first Grendel seems invincible, Beowulf eventually manages to defeat him in a desperate battle to the death. Devastated by her son's violent demise at the hands of Beowulf, Grendel's mother (Angelina Jolie) sets out in search of revenge. Later, Beowulf faces the biggest challenge of his life when he attempts to slay a powerful dragon.

The action scenes looks cool enough with most of the cast such as Anthony Hopkins, Robin Wright Penn, Brendan Gleeson and Angelina Jolie looks exactly the same as their movie character. And I must say that Angelina Jolie looks definitely sexy in the movie, not to mention that she's totally nude in it. This movie is not exactly for the kids though as there are many violence scene and some nudity in it. But still, it was a good movie and very entertaining indeed.

These are some of the cool movies that I had watched at the cinema this year. Can't wait to watch The Golden Compass next.

Eye-Fi

Eye-Fi has created a memory card with a built-in WiFi transmitter that will automatically upload your photos to any of 17 photo sites when you are within range of a designated wireless network. The 2GB SD memory card looks like any other, but it has a small antenna and WiFi service inside.

The card must be in the supplied card reader and formatted to recognize the right network.
